Book Exchanger. Книжный обменник.

     Bookcrossing is very popular all over the world. The idea is that the book should always be required and free. It could be endlessly relevant by passing from person to person and not by lying in a bookcase. It happened so that Tyumen is keeping up with the movement. For many years, the Book Exchanger is held here three times a year. You can bring your old books that are no longer needed to the Exchanger, and other visitors can choose something interesting from what was brought.

     The Book Exchanger is also a small fair where you can buy handmade souvenirs or purchase secondhand goods on the flea market. By the way, sometimes you can come across very amusing things.

     Every time something new is happening here - in the middle of the street stands a foosball table, visiting musicians play drums, or someone brought a guitar and softly singing songs. The most exciting thing is communication. It is always possible to meet old friends, make new friends, discuss interesting topics, and just have a good time.

      By the way, the Exchanger is organized by a charitable foundation, and therefore admission only costs 10 rubles (30 cents), and everyone has the opportunity to make donations. For example, we have given most of the money we got from the flea market sell to the fund.

     So I invite you to give new life to «old friends» - bring book and stuff to the Exchanger in Tyumen. Or you can organize a similar event on your own.

     Буккроссинг  - это популярное во всем мире двжение. Идея в том, что книга всегда может и должна быть нужной и свободной. Она может быть бесконечно актуальной, переходить из рук в руки, не залеживаясь в книжных шкафах. Тюмень, между прочим, не отстает. Уже много лет три раза в год здесь проходят Книжные обменники. На обменник вы можете принести свои старые книги, переставшие быть нужными. А из того, что принесли другие посетители выбрать себе что-то интересное.

     Обменник – это еще и маленькая ярмарка, здесь можно купить поделки ручной работы и сувениры, или приобрести поддержаные вещички на «барахолке». Кстати, иногда попадаются весьма занятные штучки.

     Каждый раз здесь происходит что-то новенькое – то прямо посреди улицы стоит стол с настольным футболом, то заезжие музыканты играют на барабанах, или кто-то принес гитару и тихонько поет песни. Ну и самое интересное – это общение. Здесь всегда можно встретить старых друзей, обрести новых знакомых, обсудить общие интересные темы и здорово провести время.

     Кстати, обменник организуется благотворительным фондом, поэтому вход стоит 10 рублей, и в процессе у каждого есть возможность сделать пожертовавание. Например, мы основную часть денег, вырученных на барахолке, отдали в фонд.
