I could not resist and decided to write a small
report about our trip to Mexico, specifically in Mexico City.
I must say that before the trip we were a little worried, because in Russia and
in the United States, many people told us not go there, that it’s dangerous
there and it’s not a place for tourists. No way!
There are three types of places In Mexico City: not for tourists, mainly for
tourists, for tourists and locals. I must say that the latter type is
probably the most common.
So, what’s the first thing you could know about Mexico, while still standing at
the airport? Painting is incredibly popular here!
Monumental art is a type of painting that has been developed by Mexican artists
of the last century. Rivera, Orozco, Siqueiros, and other great artists
have created a new art wave in the name of revolution,
making painting a part of the city image, interior, and landscape. Realizing
that this is the best way to convey the idea, they turned it into the art to people,
made it the national treasure.
